My final “Superform”
After 33 years of full time employment in the horse racing game, and 20 years of editing a daily publication that is sold at racetracks and Off-Track-Betting locations across Canada, I have officially exported my last PDF. On Saturday I assembled and distributed the Tuesday, June 3 edition of “Superform”.
Russ Gourlie of First Turn Printing in Orangeville, Ontario will be handling all aspects of the publication starting Monday morning. If you currently receive the program for re-sale, you will now receive a monthly invoice from First Turn Printing. If you are on the “comp” list and not re-selling the program, you will continue to receive the program on roughly the same schedule.
Earlier today I sent a note to my Superform customers and subscribers informing them of the changes (or lack thereof) to their subscription. As I told that crowd, I’m not ruling out a return to the racing game and/or the program business at some point in the future but for the next few years my top priority is slow, mostly overland travel.
And that travel begins in 30 days, 5 hours, 53 minute and 50 seconds. But who’s counting?
